50 years of bilateral relations between the Netherlands and Vietnam.

First, the logo illustrates two main elements: the LOTUS and the TULIP which are Vietnam and Netherlands National Flowers, symbolizing the culture, life-long history and the inner beauty of people in the two countries.

Second, the two flowers overlap the number fifty, representing the 50 years of bilateral relations between the Netherlands and Vietnam.

Third, in each National Flowers, there are also National Flags showing pride and magnificence along with strokes in the color "Netherlands orange" in the tulip element signifying the mutual connection, special bonds, fertility and success as people's belief about orange tulips.
